Power in items? ultra rare? armor?
One of my guildies mentioned to me that they really like collecting rare material and ultra rare material. It made them feel 'important' which I translated into power(ful).
 Anybody think there's some truth to that? Does collecting rare or expensive items in the game make someone feel better about themselves? |

i wasn't trying to take anything away, sorry if my first post seemed that way.
to be more clear, it confused me. i was trying to understand it. i spend most of my time more with the social aspect and actual gameplay, it never really occurred to me to collect, etc. |

Collecting stuff is just another way one can play the game. Nothing wrong with it.
 Some people enjoy collecting where as others may enjoy exploring the world more.

Its to try looking like the best in the game. Remember, like half of this game is how you look. Armors and items have same mods (Ascalon, Knights) (Plate Wyvern) 1.5k, 15k, or FoW armor. Its basicaly the only ting to spend your gold on.
